You are not a problem to be solved

Why choose Core Process Psychotherapy?

Often our past experiences and conditioning can obscure the core of wellness that exists in all of us.  We can become tied up in anxiety about the future and the past.

Core Process is a mindfulness based approach to psychotherapy. It is a dovetailing of western therapeutic practice and Buddhist understanding.

In the safety of a non-judgemental interaction you will be deeply seen and heard. You will have the space and encouragement to see exactly where you are in your life.

We can look together at the patterns that keep you stuck, and begin to see new and freer ways of being in the world.

This will help you rediscover your own inner knowing about how to move forward.

“Awareness is curative”

Mindfulness is a way of coming back to live in your body and sense the impact of the things that happen in your life from there. It will help you slow down and become aware of your thoughts and beliefs about the world, and how they help or hinder your happiness and well-being.

This embodied awareness can be curative in itself, and can give you choice about how to respond rather than react from historic conditioning.

Making space to access self compassion can leave you freer to be more fully yourself.

You can begin to bring your inherent wisdom to your relationships and to the way you meet the challenges you face.

And meet life openly and whole heartedly.

Core Process Psychotherapy can help with:

A safe space

Private Therapy Room

Sessions are held in a private dedicated therapy room in Exeter or Crediton, Devon.

If you prefer, I am available for online sessions. Although these can be rich and beneficial, it is my preference to see you in person initially.

Choosing the right therapist for you

You want to see someone who feels right. This is vitally important. This is why I offer a free initial 30 minute session to see if we can work together.
